Mike and Jan Jones, husband and wife team and Wimberley residents for the past fifteen years, own and operate AmeriTex Builders. Mike brings to the building business thirty years of hands-on experience in various phases of home construction, including foundations, framing, plumbing, electrical, painting, and trim. As a young man he learned his carpentry skills from his dad and later established his own kitchen and bath company. His expertise in cabinetry and counter tops taught him the importance of attention to detail. Mike believes that every stage of construction must be fully and accurately completed before moving to the next stage, from setting a square foundation to adding a flawless final stroke of the paintbrush. And he is familiar with each individual task and with each stage of construction.
